(CNN) - a boy of 11 years in Pennsylvania is missing in Egypt, in accordance with the family of the boy.
The family says that Egyptian father of the boy removed him.
A spokesman for the Embassy of the United States in Cairo, said at the same time, the authorities are "abreast of the situation" and help the mother of the boy in its research efforts.
Stephano Khalil Mohamed Atteya, or Nikko as he is called by his family, part in Egypt with his mother and sister to visit his father who lives there, according to a report of person missing from the Police of the State of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg. The boy saw on 1 August with his father, said the family of the boy.
The father accelerated offshore with the boy in a car after forcing the mother of the boy and the aunt of the car, said of the family.
